Introducing Germany

A diverse land of beautiful rivers and lofty mountains, vibrant urban culture and trend-setting style.Germany is renowned for its architectural gems, proud football scene and a prestigious musical legacy – from Bach to Kraftwerk. You’ll find boutique hotels and luxurious spas that ooze urban style. There’s creative fine dining and cutting-edge nightlife to discover. And it’s all perfectly complemented by first-class wines made from Rhineland grapes. With such a variety of regions to explore, Germany is sure to satisfy (and surprise) even the most well travelled visitor.

Deciding when to visit Germany depends entirely on your travel plans. From May to September it’s gloriously warm and sunny, and the beer gardens are bustling. Spring and autumn tend to be milder and generally quieter, and the countryside is at its most colourful. Winter’s a good time to escape to the mountain resorts for a spot of skiing, or to plan a luxury city break when the queues to Germany’s many cultural attractions are usually shorter.
